The inaugural Anandha Kondaattam festival held on 30th and 31st August 2024 held at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at  the Esplanade was a vibrant success, uniting traditional folk arts and cultures from across the globe and making history with remarkable numbers. With a record-breaking 18,713 audience members, the festival highlighted the immense cultural appeal of traditional Indian arts, while 210 talented local artists and 22 international performers brought their diverse heritages to life on stage. Supported by 21 arts organizations and a dedicated team of 60 volunteers and crew members, Anandha Kondaattam 2024 embodied our mission to celebrate and preserve folk arts for future generations.
